Tasha Dyer | Lead Vocalist
An amazingly talented and powerful vocalist, Tasha Dyer is the newest member of 6th N Main. Tasha can sing Etta James to Dolly Parton to Adele—all with ease. Her voice elicits such adjectives as ethereal, haunting, smoky and lush.
6th N Main is thrilled to add Tasha as a lead vocalist. Her voice blends beautifully with Alison and Chauncey creating brilliant harmonies.
Tasha’s musical roots are deep-seeded in southern gospel and bluegrass. Her favorite genre are contemporary and soul gospel, but loves to showcase her versatility by singing rock, to pop, to R&B, to country and jazz standards.
I have been singing my entire life. It is a great honor to sing with 6th N Main, and it has also been a growing and learning experience for me.
The Roxboro, N.C., native started singing at the tender age of five in her church choir. While the majority of her singing career has been in church, Tasha’s experience expands to musical theatre, most recently belting out 60’s classics in Halifax County Little Theatre’s reprise of BeeHive. Her stage credits also include A Christmas Carol and The Man Who Saved Christmas.
When not at practice for 6th N Main or on the theatre stage, Tasha serves as the Minister of Music for her church.
